748 Air Services Ltd has established field operations in East and Central Africa to cater for the humanitarian needs. The field operations include, but are not limited to:

• NAIROBI – KENYA

  Nairobi is the Capital City of Kenya and is regarded as “The city in the sun.” It is situated in South-Central Kenya, 140 Kilometers (87 miles) south of the Equator. It is surrounded by 113 km² ( 70 mi²) of plains, cliffs and forest that makes up the city’s Nairobi National Park which is home to wild animals such as Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffalo, Giraffes, Lions, Cheetahs, Hippos, Rhinos among others. 
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd operation in Kenya is based in Nairobi with a Dash 8-Q400 of registration 5Y-FSC and two Dash 8-100 aircrafts of registration 5Y-IHO and 5Y –MTG for WFP UNHAS.
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd also operates another Dash 8-100 of registration 5Y- JGM for the EU.

• GOMA – DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

  Goma is the capital of North Kivu province in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located on the Northern shore of Lake Kivu, next to the Rwandan city of Gisenyi. The lake and the two cities are in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift system.
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd operation in DRC is based in Goma with a Dash 8 -100 registration, 5Y-WAJ providing services to UNHAS DRC operation. The locations served by the 748 operation include Bunia, Beni, Bukavu, and Kalemi.This involves the movement of passengers and cargo to different destinations.

• JUBA - SOUTH SUDAN

  Juba is the capital and largest city of South Sudan. The city is situated on the White Nile and also serves as the capital of Jubek State. 748 Air Services (K) Ltd was incorporated in South Sudan in 2006 and has since maintained its operation in South Sudan, serving the humanitarian sector both on an ad-hoc and on contract basis. To support WFP UNHAS services, 748 Air Services (K) Ltd operates a Dash 8 – Q400 with a capacity of 76 passengers. The services of the Dash 8-Q400 has enhanced quick and reliable movement of passengers in South Sudan.
  The Dash 8-Q400 aircraft has become the backbone of UNHAS operation and its reliability is key to meeting UNHAS South Sudan targets. The aircraft has proved to be reliable, serving different locations such as Wau, Aweil, Malakal, Rumbek and Ajwanthong.
  Other than UNHAS, 748 Air Services (K) Ltd ad-hoc clients include WHO, IOM, UNHCR among others.

• N’DJAMENA – CHAD

  N’Djamena is the capital and largest city of Chad. A port on the Chari River, near the confluence with the Logone River, it directly faces the Cameroonian town of Kousséri, to which the city is connected by a bridge.
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd operates 2 Grand Caravan aircraft to support WFP UNHAS operations in Chad. One aircraft of registration 5Y –FAJ is based in N’djamena with the other one 5Y-ZBL based in Goz Beida.

• NIAMEY – NIGER

  Niamey is the capital and largest city of Niger, a West African country. Niamey lies on the Niger River, primarily situated on the east bank. The North is covered by semi deserts and large deserts while the South is dominated by Savannahs. Wildlife includes buffaloes, elephants, West African lion, Northwest African cheetah, roan, antelopes and warthogs. Paleontologists in 2007 discovered remains of a dinosaur in the Agadez area in Niger.
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd is based in Niamey operating a Dash 8 -100 registration 5Y-MCJ for WFP UNHAS. Our operational services in Niger have been exceptional with minimal interruption to UNHAS operations. Our reliability and consistency has earned us recognition by the operators

• MOGADISHU – SOMALIA

  Mogadishu, is the capital and most populous city of Somalia. Located in the Coastal Banadir region on the Somali Sea, the city has served as an important port. Many important national institutions are based in Mogadishu. It is the seat of the Federal Government of Somalia established in 2012.
  748 Air Services (K) Ltd operates a Dash 8 – Q400 of registration number 5Y-VVI for UNSOS Somalia that flies to Nairobi 5 times a week. We also operate a Dash 8- 100 of registration number 5Y-DHC for UNHAS Somalia which is based in Mogadishu.
  The Dash 8-Q400 has provided an economic operation to our client. With its speed coupled with lower operational cost than a jet, the aircraft is able to move passengers between Nairobi and Mogadishu in almost the same time as a jet aircraft.
  The Dash 8 -100 also provides cargo support to UNHAS Somalia.Our flexibility of delivering cargo with minimum interruption has been greatly valued.

• BAMAKO - MALI

  Mali is a landlocked country in West Africa and is the eighth-largest country in Africa. Most of the country lies in the southern Sahara Desert, which produces an extremely hot, dust-laden Sudanian savanna zone. Mali boasts 29 airports of which 8 have paved runways. 748 Air Services (K) Ltd operates Grand Caravan of registration number 5Y-MJM for WFP -UNHAS operations. The aircraft is based in Bamako or Mopti.
